Throughout Stamford, Connecticut, there are hundreds, and maybe even thousands of resources scattered all over the place. Some specialize, and others don’t. Here at StamfordAsks, our goal is to provide the fine folks of our community resources to help their families.

That means that we seek out family oriented resources and events. Some of the agencies we’ve worked with in the past include Abilis, American Connection, American Women’s Organization, BlackCT, buildON, CLC, CTE, CT Parent Advocacy Center, the lists goes on and on, totaling over 30 different organizations based in and serving Stamford!

The even cooler news? The Parent Leadership Training Institute, Stamford’s own Community Conversation, the fantastic Stone Soup for the 21st Century Midway Event, well, these are just a few of the organizations/initiatives that we host full time here. So, what are you waiting for? Browse through our site!

211 Navigator Promises to Help in Locating Services

Think of The 2-1-1 Navigator as an interactive interview. First they ask some basic information. Next, they ask some more questions based on your first answers. Try it. You’ll be surprised at how easy it is.

Once you are done, it’ll tell you which federal and state assistance programs you may qualify for, and how to apply for them. The 2-1-1 Navigator can’t promise you will qualify, but it can tell you if it’s worth your time to apply. Don’t worry about your privacy. It doesn’t ask for your name or address. Ready to try it?
